You Are Fabulous!

Hi there.  A late night post to share a CAS card I created today for a new challenges.

Muse Card Club - Muse Challenge #153 - Tracey McNeely is the Muse this week.

CAS-ual Fridays for Febuary

I kept my card clean and simple with one layer.  I really liked Tracey's spring colors but chose circles rather than actual flowers to make my cluster.  I stamped flowers and sentiment with So Many Smiles.  The saying is heat embossed and the center of the largest flower is on pop dots and has Liquid Glass added to the center.  All products and stamps are from Close To My Heart.

Here is Tracey's card.  Makes me anxious for spring flowers and warm weather!

Thanks for stopping by!

Fun Crafting

I find it amazing at how fast time flies when I am in my craft room!  I tired a new technique called Ink Smooshing which I saw on YouTube with Catherine Pooler.

I experimented with two types of ink and got two different looks.  Love them both!
The Frog
CTMH Exclusive Inks - Canary, Crystal Blue and Fern.
Stamp set and Thin Cut dies - CTMH Spring Critters
TwinTouch Markers - CTMH - Sap Green, Leaf Green, Pastel Green

The Butterfly
Tim Holtz Distress Inks - faded jeans, worn lipstick and dusty concord

All you have to do for the background is rub the ink pads on a clear block, spritz with water and lay on the paper and "smoosh" it until you get the desired look.  Great YouTube video to watch with Catherine Pooler.

,Give it a try and share your results!
Happy crafting and Enjoy Life's Moments!

Love is in the Air!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and what a perfect way to warm up in this cold weather we are having now!  I have made a lot of valentine cards for my granddaughter to pass out at school and also some for friends of mine. There are two great challenges that I am entering this week, Color My Heart and Heart2Heart.  Check out all of the great ideas shared there.

I really love these cute little animals and the sayings in the Operation Smile stamp set. I also like the way you can sand the white core CTMH paper for a cool effect!

These are a few of the other cards I have made...

This heart stamp has been a favorite of mine as well.  However it is retired.

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you and those in the east coast, stay warm!

Color Dare #178

Another sunny day and no snow!  I am really enjoying this mild winter.  It is almost as good as living in FL!  I decided to enter another challenge this week, Color Dare #178.  It has been good to get my creative juices flowing.

I used the new Springtime Wishes stamp set and Thin Cuts along with Floral Banners.  All from CTMH.

Guess I must be thinking spring!  These are great sets to have in your stash!  Click on the links to place an order.

Mojo Monday 433

Mojo Monday 433 - Share the Love

Happy Monday!  I saw this card sketch this morning and my mind started working.  Love is the message of the month of February and Close to my Heart has introduced Share the Love stamp set for this month.  Part of the proceeds go to Operation Smile, an amazing organization who provides surgeries to repair clef lips and clef palates for children all over the world.  What a great way to Share the Love with children all over the world!

I used Sangria paper pack, Chevron border punch and an enamel purple heart along with Desert Sand and Poppy inks.

Happy Monday and have a great week!
